Introducing Gomni — pay-as-you-go Gemini Omni Flash

May 21, 2026

Two days ago, at Google I/O 2026, Google announced Gemini Omni — a new family of multimodal generative models — and shipped the first member, Gemini Omni Flash, the same day.

We think it's a meaningful step forward in AI video generation. We also think Google's distribution channels for it — Gemini app subscriptions, Google Flow, YouTube Shorts, and a developer API in staged preview — leave a gap for creators and developers who want simpler, on-demand access.

That's why we built Gomni.

What Gemini Omni Flash does

Gemini Omni Flash takes any combination of text, images, audio, and video as input, and generates cinematic video. The model brings three meaningful advances over earlier video generators:

  • Real-world physics. Gravity, kinetic energy, fluid dynamics. Falling objects fall right. Liquids pour right. Cloth and hair move with realistic weight.
  • Scene consistency across edits. Characters keep their identity. Lighting holds. You can refine a clip in conversation without your subject morphing between turns.
  • Grounded in real-world knowledge. Because Omni inherits Gemini's broader knowledge base, prompts referencing real places, historical periods, or scientific phenomena render closer to reality.

Clips run up to 10 seconds at launch — a deployment cap by Google, not a model limit. Every clip carries an invisible SynthID provenance signal, but no visible watermark.

What Gomni adds

Gomni is an independent third-party platform that provides Gemini Omni Flash access through a pay-as-you-go credit system. We are not Google. We are not affiliated with Google. We just believe the model deserves better packaging for the workflows we care about.

Three things we got out of the way:

No $20–$100/month subscription. Google's direct access to Gemini Omni Flash starts at $20/month for AI Plus and tops out at $100/month for AI Ultra. Our one-time credit packs start at $19.90 and never expire. If your usage is bursty or project-based, you save 80%+ over a subscription.

No Google account juggling. Sign up with email. Land with starter credits. Generate your first clip in under a minute. No tier upgrades to unlock features.

API access today. Google's developer API is rolling out in stages. Gomni gives you a single API key and a stable endpoint right now — generate from your code without waiting for enterprise onboarding.

What's in the box

  • Text-to-video and image-to-video on Gemini Omni Flash
  • Text-to-image and image-to-image on Imagen and Flux (Gemini Omni doesn't output images yet — that's planned for future Omni models)
  • Workspace built for production: prompt history, projects, batch generation, asset library
  • Watermark-free downloads with commercial rights on every plan
  • Pay-as-you-go credits that never expire on one-time packs

What's coming

The Omni family is going to grow. Google has stated image and audio output modalities are planned. Longer clip lengths are expected as Google extends the cap. We'll add these as they ship — existing credits will work across all supported models, no upgrade required.

On the multi-model side, we're also evaluating Veo 3.1, Veo 3.1 Lite, and Sora 2 as upsell options for workflows where they fit better than Omni Flash. Tell us what you need at support@gomni.org.
